Sewing + Knitting + Design
I grew up in a very maker-y house. My parents had inherited a DIY gene from their parents: my mom had a sewing business, and my dad spent every minute he could on woodworking projects. When I was a kid, I remember spending a summer scouring books at the library about how to sew Barbie clothes. Then I set out to create a wardrobe inspired by Jem, my favorite cartoon at the time. I’m not saying the clothes looked good in the end, but clearly I had inherited the DIY gene as well.
My personal sewing and knitting projects live on this blog, and I also sew and design for my pet accessories business, Oxford Dogma.
