I like making things that are useful and functional and learning new ways to develop my sewing, pattern design, and knitting skills. My style is more traditional and classic than trendy and vibrant — as evidenced by all of the chambray and neutrals in my projects.
Most of my making time these days is devoted to my handmade business, Oxford Dogma. I design and make classic style goods for little dogs and their loving humans. To see these projects, check out my online shop oxforddogma.com.
And if you’re interested in sewing, but you don’t know where to start, I highly recommend you pick up a copy of School of Sewing by Shea Henderson! I had struggled with my mediocre sewing skills for years, but by following her projects one-by-one I gained so much confidence that it allowed me to create Oxford Dogma. For more about my experience, check out my review and the projects I created from her lessons.
