The season for arts and crafts festivals in Phoenix is almost upon us, and I’m excited to be participating in a really great fair in April. Jackalope Art & Craft Fair happens twice a year in Colorado, California, and Phoenix (where I’ll have a booth). They hand-select artisans, crafters, and DIY enthusiasts so that attendees can feel confident they’re getting high-quality indie goods.
Jackalope is an outdoor event and it’s free to attend — you can even bring your dog with! I’m hoping to have some homemade treats at my booth for good little doggies to sample.
In addition to shopping for handcrafted goods, you can grab a bite at one of the on-site food trucks, and participate in workshops (TBA).
I’ll be bringing a bunch of new items, including:
- dog collars with metal buckles
- leash pouches that dispense clean-up bags (in lots of new colors and fabrics)
- leashes for small dogs
- interactive plush toys (regular size for dogs + little bitty ones for cats!)
- canvas pet toy bins
Pipsqueak may get to come, but she tends to go a little bananas around other dogs, so we’ll have to play that one by ear ;)
The fair is April 16 & 17, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix. It should be a really fun weekend, and a great opportunity to shop for some unique items that you won’t find at the big stores. Hope to see you there!
