Whole wheat flaky pie dough and quick veggie pot pie

Process notes

  • left out the sugar
  • used white vinegar (½ amount) instead of lemon juice
  • was quite wet when mixed, but after resting in the fridge for about 5 hours it firmed up nicely
  • cracked when rolling out, as always happens with me. Try letting it rest on the counter for 10 minutes after chilling next time.
  • mixed the butter in with my fingers instead of the food processor, leaving the butter chunks larger and more uneven

Results

This turned out flakier than previous pie dough recipe I used for veggie pot pie.
