The tart shell was made from the leftover dough I had from making the buckwheat tart with honey-lemon cream. The filling wasn’t from a particular recipe, just something that sounded like it might work after browsing various recipes.
- simmered apple chunks from a granny smith and two small galas in water, honey, sugar, spices
- added strawberries after apples cooked down
Meh. This was pretty blah, didn’t have much filling. The buckwheat dough I took out of the freezer wasn’t nearly as good as when it was fresh.
