The Downtown Chandler Community Partnership wanted to update their branding for the Chandler Farmers Market, and since anything related to food is right up my alley I jumped at the chance to help out.
We began by identifying their style keywords, audience, and goals. Once we had these elements, I created a guiding principle for the branding:
“The Chandler Farmers Market combines the throwback nature of the farmers market with the modern idea that shoppers care where their purchases come from.”
The logo, color palette, and patterns build off of this idea of combining modern with vintage/retro. The timeless tee and tote designs look like they could be from the seventies or today, appealing to both modern farmers market shoppers and those that have been shopping that way for years.
